The only Midwestern trait Gina Vaynshteyn still has is her fondness of scrambled eggs and ketchup. Gina currently lives in San Diego, where she is getting her Masters in Creative Writing at SDSU. Her work has been featured or is forthcoming in Bop Dead City, The California Journal of Women Writers, Treehouse, Milk Sugar, and [PANK]. Gina also writes for The Rumpus, HelloGiggles, LA Review and helps run Poetry International’s Facebook & Twitter.

This is what I looked like 4 years ago and until I can find a better photo, this is what you are stuck with. You’re welcome.

    • Thank you! I love yours, it’s totally where I am in life/do in life. Love it, can’t wait for more posts! p.s. How is that Zelda Fitzgerald book? I’ve been eyeing it at Barnes & Noble!

      • awww thanks so much! truthfully, the zelda book is a little slow to start. I’m hoping that it’s gonna pick up at some point. Definitely worth a read if you’re a fan of the whole Dapper thing (I know I am!)

  1. It started on buzzfeed and ended up on your page. My current internet session that is, and I’m glad it did. You’re a pretty kick ass writer. Keep it up and i’m going to keep on reading your work!

  2. Hi there. I found your blog via HelloGiggles today after reading your piece on “Success after 30”, which I thought was really great! We need more reminders like this! Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say thanks for an inspiring blog.
